SMC International Training Center
SMC International Training is a training center set up by the company which conducts training seminars on Pneumatic and Automation Technologies for Filipino engineers and technicians. Courses that are conducted on regular schedules as "Basic Pneumatics for Low Cost Automation", "Electro-Pneumatics and PLC Applications", "Advanced Programmable Logic Controller", " Circuit Design and Maintenance of Pneumatic Systems", and "Industrial Vacuum Technology". These courses are offered as open seminars ton the public. In-plant seminars can be arranged with companies based on the above subjects or as tailor-fit course. Hands-on exercises are the main features of these training. Quality training are provided by SMC Pneumatics due to the well trained trainers who conduct the seminars as the course leaders. Pneumatic, Electro-Pneumatics, Vacuum Technology and PLC training kits are also available to companies and institutions who wish to put up their own training facilities for their in-house training.

Technical Courses
PNEUMATICS FOR LOW COST AUTOMATION
LCA touches basic pneumatic system, its area of application, elements of control system, logic functions, timer applications, multiple cylinder control system, with practical exercises and troubleshooting.
CIRCUIT DESIGN AND MAINTENANCE OF PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
The course deals with maintenance and designing of purely pneumatic systems, preventive and actual maintenance, principle and functions of pneumatic components, rigid circuit designing and troubleshooting.
ELECTRO-PNEUMATICS AND PLC APPLICATIONS
EPP tackles pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controls, sensors, processors, and actuators, relay logic, multiple cylinder control, timer and counter applications, Basic PLC, its advantages with control applications, ladder diagramming and programming with exercises and troubleshooting.
ADVANCED PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER
Advanced PLC is a continuation of EPP which touches on the more advanced functions of the PLC as applied in the industry, message display, shift register, data transfer, data compare, differentiate up and down, etc., with on-line (software) PLC programming and documentation.
INDUSTRIAL VACUUM TECHNOLOGY
This course deals with vacuum controls in industrial application, selection and specification of vacuum equipment; vacuum pads, vacuum ejectors, pumps, maintenance and leak detection, complete system design with practical exercises and troubleshooting.
OPERATORS TRAINING ON INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION
This course was designed tailor fit for operators. It deals with pure pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, and PLC controls rolled into one. It also touches economic aspect of basic air line system, generation and purification of compressed air, and systematic troubleshooting of control system.
